Thank you to everyone who joined with Staten Island Holocaust Center President, Rachel Borenstein, at the JCC of Staten Island, on Thursday, May 2 to celebrate Staten Island Holocaust Chief Executive Officer and Staten Island Civil Court Judge, Philip S. Straniere.
Judge Straniere was among the handful of community leaders recognized for his outstanding civic service over the years in Staten Island.
The "Hillel Kavod Circle Reception" presented by Staten Island, JCC of Staten Island, and UJA New York also included Council Member David Carr and Nancy Tricorico, with Marielle Braunstein, Jaclyn Nussenblatt, and Molly Nemirow being presented with the Fran & Joe Harris Student Leadership Award.
