We are heartbroken to announce that Yolanda Rudich -- who serves as a member
on the Staten Island Holocaust Center's advisory board -- lost her daughter, Karissa, the family has shared. A funeral for Karissa will be on Sunday, November 20 at 11:00 am at Congregation B’nai Israel in Toms River, New Jersey (1488 Old Freehold Road). Following the burial, family, friends, and loved ones will gather at the home of Karissa’s sister, Nikki Meyerberg (2326 Crystal Mile Court, Toms River, New Jersey).
There will also be Shiva at the Meyerberg home on Monday, November 21 from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm and on Tuesday, November 22 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm. On Wednesday, November 23, Shiva will be held from 12 noon -- 5:00 pm at Yolanda’s (336 Flagg Place, Staten Island, New York 10304).
