One of the most fun, happy, and joyous holidays on the Jewish calendar, we are excited to wish our Staten Island community a very Happy Purim.
Regardless if you are celebrating the holiday on the Island or in New York City, Purim provides the perfect opportunity to commemorate the survival and resilience of Jewish communities around the world.
According to NY1 News, Purim festivities, events, and parties are taking place across the five boroughs this week including the Joan & Alan Bernikow Jewish Community Center, who hosted a fun-filled Purim carnival on Sunday. In addition, there are three other notable events taking place on Staten Island on Monday and Tuesday at Chabad of Staten Island and Purim at Fun Station USA, complete with rides, games, a breakfast, BBQ, costumes, and more.
